Everything on this site is educational content, not medical advice. Yoga practice — including posture, breath retention and cleansing techniques — carries risk, and some practices described here are unsuitable for certain conditions.

Consult a qualified health professional before beginning any practice described here if you are pregnant, injured, have a cardiovascular condition, high or low blood pressure, glaucoma, a respiratory condition, or any other health concern. Stop any practice that causes pain, dizziness or distress. You practise entirely at your own risk, and The Kriya Yogi accepts no liability for injury arising from use of the material on this site.

We write from the classical texts and from careful research, and we update pages as our understanding deepens. Even so, we do not warrant that every page is complete, current or free of error, and interpretations of classical material may differ between traditions.

Our shop is operated through Shopify. When you place an order, the contract of sale is subject to the checkout terms shown at the time of purchase, including those covering pricing, shipping, returns and refunds. Product descriptions are given in good faith; handmade items may vary slightly from photographs.

You agree not to misuse the site: no attempting to breach security, scrape at disruptive volume, interfere with the shop or checkout, or use the site for anything unlawful.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Kriya Yogi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
