With gratitude

To the masters who came before

Nothing on this site was discovered by us. Every posture, every breath, every idea written down here was lived first — by teachers who gave decades of their lives to this work, often with no audience, no payment and no record kept, and who passed it on intact so that it could reach us at all.

What you are reading is only our small share of what we were given. It exists because of the many masters who came before us, named and unnamed, and of the lineage that carried this knowledge across centuries so that a person sitting alone at home could open it today. Any true credit belongs to them.

The texts we draw on — the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the Gheranda Samhita — are themselves records of a teaching far older than their writing. Behind every verse stands a teacher who first practised it, and a student who found it worth keeping alive.

Śraddhā — we teach only what we received.
