Vinayaka Chaturthi dates, 2034

Vinayaka (or Vinayaki) Chaturthi is the Chaturthi of the Shukla (waxing) fortnight each month. The largest of them, in the month of Bhadrapada, is Ganesh Chaturthi itself.

Worship is traditionally offered around midday, and the tradition advises against looking at the moon on this evening — a custom tied to the story of Ganesha cursing the moon.

How the date is decided here: the local day on which the Shukla Chaturthi tithi is in force at sunrise. Some calendars use the tithi prevailing at midday instead; near a boundary that can move the date by a day.
